Another step closer to solving supply issue!! UPDATE - that WAS the problem!!
ETA: I was out of the office yesterday so I couldn't test my theory. Came in today with a pack of new membranes for my pump and YAYYYY - there's milk! So, I can stop stressing that stress, or a possible AF, or potential pregnancy is screwing with my body - it was just a pump in need of love!! ________________________________
Not that anyone really cares but I am OK at home. I got 11oz this a.m. But at work (different pump), getting NOTHING. Like 1/2 oz each breast when I used to get 2-3oz per breast. Discovered holes in the membranes today. So, su cks for today. Can't do anything from here. But I have replacement membranes at home and I can't wait to see if this is why. I hope so. I smell like IHOP from all the fenugreek I've been taking to solve this issue. I hope this is IT!
OH, and my colleague in our DC office just called me and heard my pump. I told her I was multitasking. She yelled, "OH MY GOD - that's SOOO GROSS that you're still nursing"
She's a big biaotch so it doesn't bother me - but nice, huh?

I care!
Why are you using a different pump at home vs. work?
Hopefully this solves the issue!

It's so nasty. My DH kissed my arm the other day to see if I tasted how I smell he says I don't

I have 2 so I don't have to commute with it - can you believe I've been nursing for nearly 2 yrs combined and I never had to buy a pump (inherited from my SIL and a friend who didn't nurse past a couple of months)

I just sent DH a text, "YAY - I'm not drying up"
He's probably so relieved. I've been bitc hing to him and he's had to give me countless back rubs to help alleviate the stress that was potentially screwing up my milk.
Hey, maybe I shouldn't have told him

I'm glad you figured out the problem. I think you're supposed to replace the membranes every month or two. I didn't replace them that often, but I tried to put new ones in when I remembered.

Those are the little white things right? Why would you have to replace? I'm confused...But glad that it did the trick!!

Yep - they get tiny tears in them as they wear out, most of the time you don't even see them. It's a good idea to replace them every month or two.
Glad this worked!!

I really can't stand people who make comments about breastfeeding being gross. HELLO, humans are the only mammals that have come up with an alternate food source for their young! Part of what makes us who we are is that we can nurse our young, that's what your breasts are for dum@$$!!!
Anyway, glad you worked your problem out.
