Another Tattoo Question

I'm thinking about having mine re-done. I want something else but I'm afraid it will look crappy. Has anyone ever had a tattoo covered up or changed?

Re: Another Tattoo Question

My friend had a tattoo covered. Ill be honest. If you look at it far away it looks like a big inkspot. A little closer it looks good. Up close you can see both tattoos.

Re: Another Tattoo Question

Yes, I have 3 tattoos covered, and DH has altered one of his by expanding the design.

Re: Another Tattoo Question

my step brother had one covered up...i forgot what it was, but now it's a giant "death" on his upper arm and I think it's SO morbid.

I think it's more difficult to cover up a color one than black & White

Re: Another Tattoo Question

I added to mine once (I was a wimp and got a small one to start), but it's boring, still small and has no special meaning. I want another that mean something, but really don't want to ink up another spot on my body. SO I thought I'd change it. But, I won't do it if it's going to look like a big blob.

So, I need to find someone whose really good at it.

Re: Another Tattoo Question

I got one covered up and it looks good. I can see the old one underneath in certain areas, but I don't think anyone else can.
