Ant Help!

Help! How do you get rid of ants?? I noticed a couple on my kitchen countertop a couple of weeks ago, there was an empty soda can my DH didn’t rinse put so they were all around that. We bought ant traps and haven’t seen any for a while. Well this morning I go into the kitchen and there is an army of them. The only food on the countertop was an cake I brought home from my mom’s last night. But it was sealed in the box. There was an army of them inside the box. I am sooo grossed out I don’t know how to do. Where are they coming from? We live on the second floor of a 2 family house. I haven’t seen my tenants yet but I want to ask them if they have seen ants.
Could it be the weather change?
Any help would be appreciated!!

Vinegar. Clean your kitchen with a mixture of vinegar and water. Then soak a paper towel in vinegar and stick it where you see them coming from. My friend and I both did this and it worked for us. We both had to stick the vinegar cloth behind the stove.

Re: Ant Help!

We had this same issue and I tried the Borax ant killing method and it worked like a charm. Google it because there are different things you can use with the Borax. I used grape jelly.

I use the raid ant baits and they work well. I also keep all food sealed in plastic containers or ziplock bags-cardboard boxes are not truly sealed.
