anterior placenta?

So at my Level II I was told that I have an anterior placenta and that is why I am barely feeling any movement yet at 20w. The baby is using the placenta as her punching bag instead of me!
My question is for anyone else who has had an anterior placenta...when did you finally start to feel movement? The tech said it should be pretty soon. I am just so impatient! Thanks!

Re: anterior placenta?

I was told that I have an anterior placenta as well. The doc said to expect feeling between 20-22 weeks. Not sure how your baby's positioned but on Saturday mine was practically standing on my bladder so the doc said I would prob feel that first before the flutters. HTH!Chat Icon

Re: anterior placenta?

I started feeling DD around 23 weeks. By 25-26 weeks I was feeling her all the time.

Re: anterior placenta?

I was told that I had one at my level 2, but I had already been feeling movement weeks before then. Now I am 26 wks and I feel him kicking constantly, and pretty strong.

Re: anterior placenta?

I have that too! I'm 21 weeks but still feel "vibrations" instead of kicks. But last night I felt him alot. I also had ice cream so maybe he was on a sugar rush!

About 21 to 22 weeks I was feeling the baby more and more. DH was able to feel around 24 weeks, but sometimes he can't feel the flutters. Now's I'm 27 weeks and feel the baby a lot more
