Any alternative to iron supplements
they slow fe iron is killing me. They told me to take 2 pills with stool softner as well once a day. I have been doing this and drinking a lot of water and i cant seem to (TMI warning) have a decent bm. Is this normal. and when i do it seems to look green. Again im sorry for the TMI but im not seein git in my books.

Iron killed me too. I take it with 300 mg of colace...well, I dont take it anymore, one dr told me I had to, the other said that even though my iron was low, that was normal for pregnant woman (so of course I decided to listen to her).
It took me at LEAST a couple of days to have the stool softener work ( sorry TMI, but I had to use an enema---thats how bad it got). As far as the green, I know it is normal for it to turn black, but I have not hear about green.
Feel better. Hope you get relief soon
