Re: Any August babies out there?
Just had my first OB appt today and was told I am due August 16th. We were able to see more than I expected on the sonogram and we got pictures to take home. I am battling nauseau but not vomiting and my boobs are killing me but I love how much bigger they have gotten. I have always had tiny boobs. Anybody worried about being 9 months pregnant at the hottest and most humid time of year! Oh well, can't plan everthing right?

I have been feeling better lately. I had some bad morning sickness and sore boobs hurt pretty bad which is still have but the morning sickness has subsided a little bit. It's nice to have a break from that.
Im looking forward to August 12th or 13th!!

In regards to the being pregant during the hottest time of the year quetion, I've definitely thought about that. Especially trying to fit into a bathing suit this summer, that's scary. Who am I kidding iIll probably be laid up in the air conditioning all summer. I'm looking forward at least to take the babies out in the strolle rin the fall, it won't be too hot or too cold.

keep think it will be hot out but i think its perfect timing, my hubby;s schedule will be more free to chill with the bbay.

I have already "reserved" the float in my parents pool! They have a HUGE pool and all I'm doing in July and August is floating in it! (no one will be able to see me)

I'm due August 1st...the doctor said he will most likely induce me because with my 2nd pregnancy my labor was super fast and I couldn't get an epidural. I was lucky I made it to the hospital...lol
I feel ok just really tired and I get naseous if I don't eat every few hours. My boobs don't hurt with this one which I'm grateful for because I remember that with my other 2. I go for my 2nd doctors appt on Monday. Hope all is well..I feel like it has been forever since we saw that little heart beating.

I'm with you. For all of the people at work who don'tknow I'm pregnant, I keep thinking, wow they must think I'm beefing out this winter. I feel just extremely bloated and my clothes look funny. I'm looking forward to soon sharing the big news with some colleagues.

I am due August 21st.. ... I am 8w3d today.... had 2 sonograms - and got to see the heartbeat
Looking forward to sharing the news with a few more people, I have been VERY selective....
I had slight evening sickness for week 6 and 7, but other than that I am truly feeling great. Boobs have grown and are really sore - think I need a few new bras already....I am loving it!!
Not reallly showing, just looks like I ate a bigger lunch at the moment...

I am making my appt for the ultra screen for about a week from today. I'm bummed I was supposed to have a 10 week sono earlier this week and came down with bronchitis from my husband and had to miss the appt. Now the doctor is saying to just go in for the 12 week. Should I be upset? I was so looking forward to hearing all was well since I was sick for a few days and now I'll have to wait another week and a half. DH thinks I worry too much. Should I?

I am due August 7th. I went for the ultrascreen on Monday and got a call last night that I have a low lying placenta. I am on pelvic rest until I go for my Level II. I know it is common but I am a little scared that the placenta will not move.
I had severe nausea and a few pretty bad vomiting episodes since week 6. I am praying that I am not as nauseous soon. I feel like crap!

Yes, I did. I went on 1/19. Dr's said everything looked good and I'm waiting to do the second part of the bloodwork at 16 weeks.

I did too - on wednesday. Baby wasn't very cooperative. It kept moving and it was tough for the tech to get a measurement!
I should get my results at my next appt on 2/11. (no sono that day though...booo)
I'm still getting pretty sick every day... luckily my boobs haven't grown at all and my skin has cleared up a little bit. Still have many food aversions too.

We had our ultrascreen on Wednesday. The baby was wiggling all over the place!!
I don't really get nauseous, just queasy now and then. Still tired although that's getting a little better. BB's hurt at night but not as bad as in the beginning. Clothes getting tight and I'm wearing maternity jeans. Having trouble sleeping - get up to pee and cant fall back asleep! Happens a lot.

I'm due August 16th!! We had our first u/s last week at 11 weeks and we go back on Feb 5th (at around 13 weeks) for the ultrascreen.
Still have all the same symptoms as early on... nausea, extreme hunger, fatigue. But I don't care, as long as the baby is healthy!

same with me. My next appt is on v-day. My m/s is pretty much gone but I'm still super tired and lazy! I can't wait for the 2nd tri engery to kick in already!!! I can't wait for my next sono but I have a while for that!!

I'm due 8/6. Feeling good... still kind of dragging my butt a little, but not as bad as it was in the beginning. We had the ultrascreen last week, but i didn't set up my next OB appt yet bc of my work schedule and my Dr. is away.. it'll probably be in another 2 weeks-ish.
I'm definitely MUCH thicker in the stomach area, and i can't 'suck it in' anymore, but i've only gained 2 lbs in my 1st trimester, so i can't complain.
