Any December Ladies starting their maternity leave???
I started mine already, I took my vacation time...(if I didn't take it I would lose it). Then, next week I start short-term disability.
Anyone else???

I planned to work until I go into labor but I am starting to consider not coming back after Thanksgiving. That will give me one week off before my due date. But I am also hoping my little man comes a little early..... I am just ready for him to come out already!

November 21st is my last day at work and then I am on maternity leave for 6.5 months!!!!

I'd like to work up until the end, but at my last two appointments, the doctors talked about taking me out early. It will all depend on my blood pressure and swelling.

I am planning to start working from home the week of Dec 15th. I am due on 12/30. I don't really want to go earlier than that if I don't absolutely have to because I don't want to lose time after  is here!

I'm working until Dec. 11th then going in for my c-section the next morning.
Returning to work on Jan. 12th... 4 weeks total maternity leave is all I can afford. :(
That may prove ambitious on my part but I'm hoping for the best!
For those who can take more, lucky lucky!

I work from home and am taking 6 weeks std starting the day of my induction or c-section. I may take another week of vacation from 08 and if I need to I can borrow a week from 09 but I probably won't. I am hoping I can get them established in a nice sort of routine in those 6 weeks. I am in sales so I wil still be making commissions too.

My DD is Dec 11th and I haven't decided on a "last day" yet...
I am taking off 4 months and want to save every last day for after the baby gets here :)
We'll see how long I last!

Well, I've been out on leave since September 4th...  but if it hadn't been for my back injury, I'd be working until the week prior. So around 12/5.

My last day of work is 12/5...17 more working days, and my due date is 12/17. I cannot wait to be out of that company.
DH and I decided that I will not be returning to work since we would like to start working on conceiving our 2nd child when DS is approximately 6 months old. We are both 38 and want to be done asap.
