Any ideas on how to make DD's steamed chicken more appetizing so that me and DH can eat it?
We'll be pureeing it for her, but I would like us to be able to eat the same thing....how can I make it less bland for us?

I would always make a chicken stock and then use the boiled chicken in the soup or puree it for the boys. Just don't add salt until after you take the chicken out if you want to reduce the sodium content.

I may try the stir fry. that sounds good...is teriyaki the same brown sauce that the chinese restaurants use on steamed chicken and broccoli? Looks like making DDs food is going to help us eat better too!

I think that's usually a garlic sauce.... Isn't it?

Teriyaki is much sweeter than that brown sauce. I think that might be a garlic or ginger sauce. In the asian aisle, there should be a variety of different sauces to try. If you don't want SOOO sweet, try an oyster sauce and just use a little with soy sauce and minced ginger. Or even a brown bean sauce (I don't think I have ever seen that in jars though)
