Any new moms doing WW? I don't understand something..
I've done WW so many times and always had success.
I started 3 weeks ago (my baby is 7 weeks old) and I know I started a bit earlier than recommended but I hadn't lost a pound after he turned 3 weeks...which is what happened with Johnny.
I had been doing ok..lost 1.5 pounds each week..then I go to weigh in today and was exactly the same as the week before...
I worked so hard all week! Stayed at 26 points per day, and started running a little bit. I don't get it. I shouldn't have stayed the same. Maybe next week will be a bigger loss but frustrated right now!!
How are the other new moms doing??

Re: Any new moms doing WW? I don't understand something..
I have been going back and forth every week. One week i will lose .2 the next week i lost 4.2 then, .6 then 4.4...... the last 2 weeks i have only lost .2 & .4 but i haven't been running as often anymore due to bad shin splints. My new sneakers will arrive today so I plan to get back into running more often again....

Here is what Im thinking and told somewhat.
Your body is still somewhat dealing with the hormones and changes. Things like AF too. That shows up after 6wks and I think that is partly why..your body has to almost go back to normal..u know?
I also think as long as you are losing...you are doing ok. Any loss is better than no loss.

Your body is definitely still adjusting to giving birth. I started WW about a month or so ago. I lost 2 pounds the whole time. I realize now while I was staying within my points I wasn't eating the right type of foods, dairy, proteins, fats.

Re: Any new moms doing WW? I don't understand something..
I started doing WW on my own on February 9 when DS was 6 weeks old. I lost a decent amount the first 2 weeks then less the next couple of weeks then it kind of stalled. I assumed my body needed time to adjust so I took a month off. I officially joined WW on May 22 and just finished my 16th week and am down 25.8 pounds. Total 38 since I started in February. It will come off but be patient as your body needs to adjust. You are sleeping less, your hormones are still wacky and your body in general is adjusting to not having the baby sucking all of your nutrients from you. Good luck, a loss is a loss.

I am right there with you. I started 2 weeks ago when my DS was 4 weeks old. I had only lost about 8 lbs. before starting WW, and then in the past 2 weeks, I have only lost 1.5!! So frustrating. I know that my body is still adjusting, but come on already!!!

ITA with this. Not a new mom but I wanted to say it sounds like you are doing fantastic
I agree with this though. It is easy to follow the points but it seems that many people don't often follow the "program" i.e following the good health guidelines.
If you make sure the food you are eating is quality I think the weight loss becomes a bit easier.
Good luck with the program!
