moms of little ones- what are you doing for Halloween?

So I know we're all dressing our kids up, but what are you actually going to do with them? Luca will have just turned one and I don't think he would understand trick or treating, plus I don't give him any candy. I do have a Halloween Bash thrown by the town right across the street, so I guess we'll just go to that and see what he does. I'm also going to have to feed him dinner early so he can have time at the party before he's supposed to go to bed.

ETS- I would look for something to take him to during the day and owuld prefer to trick or treat in the afternoon, but I have to work until 6, so I can't do anything until after that.

Last year Talia was 13 months when I took her trick or treating...believe it or not she TOTALLY got the concept and absolutely loved it!!

Well, this Sat. we have a twin party

Halloween day we will be going to Daddy's office. Hopefully at lunch time... they are going as Ketchup and Mustard...lol.

I realized I can't walk around the neighborhoood with them as their costumes are bunting and I can't get the strap for the carriage btwn their legs. If I only had one, I'd carry him or her but no can do. Didn't think that out all the way.

They'll be 7 months.

DD is 16 mths, I am going to take her trick or treating to some of the neighbors I grew up with by my Dads house to show off my little cutie, and then when DH gets home we will take her to some of our own neighbors. I do allow her to suck on a lolipop every now and then so Ill save those for her...the rest is for DH and myself

Ok, maybe I'll give it a try and see how it goes. I just feel bad because I don't know what/how much of the goodies I'll allow him to eat.

I am thinking about taking DS to our library. They are doing a little parade and story time.

Then off to my parents house. Im going to take DS and my nephew (he will be 3 tomorrow) around the neighborhood.

Sara has a 5 year old brother so we are trick or treating around the neighborhood. Sara will walk around as well. we will go for about an hour and then back home . ( Sara is 20 months)

We are going to trick or treat on our block and then go to SIL house so we can trick or treat with her DD who is two months older. DD goes to bed at 7, 8pm the latest so it will be an early night.

We have a Gymboree party before class. Then we will go Trick or Treating with our neighbor, her 1 month old son, and 3 and 5 year old nieces. We'll just go up and down our block.

DD was going to be a mermaid til I realized that wouldn't work in the stroller (no legs) so she will be a ladybug. I'll be a butterfly, and Scout a bumble bee...

Well, we have a costume party on Saturday. There is a kiddie parade in the city. We will also dress her up when we hand out candy to trick or treaters.

Going out with them in a stroller with some friends who have older kids. That way they can watch and see what it is all about.

DD is 14mths and I'm taking her trick or treating to a few of the neighbors houses. Mommy needs her candy fix

14 months. Daycare has a costume party at 3PM so we'll do that and then take him to my mom's so she can see him. Dont know if we'll go door to door though, maybe next year.

DH is bringing DS (4 months) at my work. He has a Tigger outfit. It would be dark and too late to trick or treat in our neighborhood at night.

Maybe DH will take him there during the day.

Not doing anything with the baby... I still haven't even gotten him a costume yet. Tomorrow they are having candy and stuff for the kids at my office, so I'm picking Nate up early from daycare and bringing him here. Then next Wednesday, they are having a little party for the kids at the daycare. It's not that serious to take them around the neighborhood yet. I don't really let him eat candy, so there's no point right now.

I wasn't going to get DS a costume, but wewere invited to a Halloween party in the neighborhood for 9mths and under.
