any of your hubbies work outdoors in this weather?
God Bless them! I cant imagine!  
I felt so bad today, the cesspool company had to come,and they were out there a good hour or 2.
My heart broke that they had to be out there. I even asked him if it was something that could wait till Spring, but it wasnt 
I made them coffee and tea and gave a nice tip.
We never realize the little things we complain about, and how others might have it even harder.
and they were SOOO nice, polite and great to work with throughout the whole couple of hours.
To anyone that works outdoors, bless you!

Not DH......but I can me outside for a while during my work day!!
And I can only dress so warm when wearing a suit & dress coat!! Yestersday s*cked! I was a frozen popsicle!

Mine does too. He bundles up though. And uses those feet warmers. He said they really work!

That was so thoughtful of you! I'm sure they really appreciated it.
They did  It was the least I could do. I felt so obligated to offer them SOMETHING. I was even considering making them soup  so I asked them if they wanted coffee or tea, and brought it outside to them.
the guy must have thought I was nuts cuz I was like "if you need to come in to warm up, please do" thank God I had my 3 kids in the house or he would have thought I was hitting on them!
I just felt so bad that they had to be out there.. and then I told my hubby, well if it wasnt our house, it would be another house, this is their line of work
there should be some type of automatic machines to melt through ice for them. what the heck, we have machines that do EVERYTHING nowadays, and they had to stand there with shovels digging through a foot of ice.

Mine does too....he has been outside since 7am. I talked to him a little while ago and they are still working. He only went inside for 1/2 hr for lunch....he usually takes the cold really well but today he said it is freezing!!!

Mine does!!!! When it is cold like this, he goes to work with about 4 layers over his suit!!! It is the only way to stay warm!!! He comes home & just wants to curl up with a blanket!

Mine does and when people are nice like you and offer warm drinks (or cold in the heat of summer!) It makes all the difference. Even if he comes prepared w/a thermos it's still a very nice gesture and so appreciated!! .

My dad does - he works for the town. So he plows in the winter. If we have a really bad storm he might not come home for like 2-3 days!!
