Any "older" moms-to-be TTC?

Going to be 41 (yuck) on my next b-day and DH and I are starting to TTC child #2.

I had a miscarriage in September 2008 and thought we'd wait a bit before trying again but now I'm feeling we waited a bit too long to try for #2 but what's done is done.

Hi there "old" mom I have two kids, just had a miscarriage, plan on having one more child ASAP and will turn 40!!!! this july.

My OB said age was not a factor in my miscarriage and age would not be a factor in I having another child and if I want another child then we should go for it, so we will....although some days when my 5 year old and nearly 2 year old are fighting I think I must be out of my mind

I had Abby at 38 after TTC, surgery, 5 cycles of IUI and two miscarriages. I had Jeremy at 40 after 3 IUI cycles and a D and C/loss. The losses were not age related. I am a lot more tired than I would have been had I had my children 10 years ago, but I was in a very different time in my life and not married.

yes. I'll be 39 in Oct. Trying for baby no. 2. And then we'll be done.

I'm not giving up yet.

A good friend just got pregnant at 41.

Silly, but i just read that the Kardashian mom had her last kid at 42.

I do wish i did this when i was younger, but my life didn't work out that way.

I just turned 37, trying again for #1 after a loss in March of this year.
My sister is 5 months preggo with her 1st and she turns 40 in August.

Its funny about have such a gap between #1 and #2.

My DH is always going on about when are we going to start trying for #2 so today I mentioned to my husband this morning is he going to be able to handle taking DS to Soccer and Baseball practice while bringing along a baby and he just looked at me like this never occurred to him that he'd have to do that (I work nights)...the look on his face was priceless!

I had my 1st about 2 months before I turned 38, my 2nd 17 days before my 40th birthday and was just pregnant with # 3 at 41. I lost that last one, but the mc had nothing to do with my age; we were also not trying with that one...total surprise. I'm not sure if we're going to ttc again, though...

I just turned 40 and we are ttc for #2. I had DS one month shy of 39 after over four years of IF procedures. Then I got pg naturally when DS was only 8 months...but I lost that baby. This is the 2nd month trying after that loss.
