Any recommendations for EXTREMELY dry feet?
I've tried all the "specialty" pedicures and they just don't really do the trick. I am so hard on my feet and it shows. I used to lather them with all kinds of oils, balms and creams and put socks on at night but they still look cracked and nasty. Any tips or product suggestions?

in the heart of the summer when my start to get bad, I use the ped egg and aquaphor with cotton socks. It always helps within 3-4 days.

Re: Any recommendations for EXTREMELY dry feet?
Have you tried the Ped Egg? I had dry cracked feet and started using that and it really works. In addition to that I do something else and it works(we're moms so you may like this one), I apply balmex on my feet and put socks on. WIth the ped egg and balmex.. let's just say my feet are much softer.

Yes, I have the ped egg and use Aquaphor, Balmex, Mother's Oil. The ped egg leaves them smooth but they still LOOK discolored and yucky.

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion
Also that Miracle Foot Repair Cream that you can buy with the PedEgg
They also have something else on the Ped Egg site called Soft Silky Soles with Alpha Hydroxy... haven't tried that one though

Re: Any recommendations for EXTREMELY dry feet?
I really like L'occitane's foot cream.
But I'm really hard on my feet too and the only real cure that lasts for a while is when I get a pedi I pay a little extra for them to use a callus cream on my feet and then use a foot file.
Good luck!

I use this too - sometimes with a few other of their foot products and they really work for me.

You may call me "Insane" but someone who works at a very prestigious spa told me about this and it really works!!! The key is to make sure you HEAT the oil first, not only does it feel good on your feet it helps the oil sink into the dry skin. And yes, olive oil can pretty much fix ANYTHING!!!
I have to admit, I do think of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" everytime I try Olive Oil for something. P.S. It makes a great conditioner for a badly damaged leather coat too!!!

Re: Any recommendations for EXTREMELY dry feet?
I think Oprah had it on a while ago - Wipe clearasil pads or something with Salicylic Acid after you clean your tootsies. Then apply any thick, heavy lotion. Put on socks and leave them on. After a few days of this, your feet will nice and smooth. You have to do it every so often to keep it up.
