I have no clue what to plant when we move. My backyard gets both shade and sun and the front yard I think gets all sun.

Any recommendations?

Fellow Southerner here!

Are you looking for low maintenance plants/shrubs/trees?

I'm not a gardener by any means but I wanted something that required little from me and that looked good all year round. (I hate perenials. lol They look good when in season and then your yard looks like crap. if you're like me and have no patience for maintaining it.)

I love the "Creative Homeowner" books:

Home Landscaping: Southeat Region".

Shows you designs and what plant they used for your region (shade, sunny, patio, etc...)
