Any suggestions on where to have an inexpensive baby shower in Suffolk?
My SIL is due in September and it doesnt seem like anyone is really planning anything for her. So I am trying to come up with inexpensive places to have her shower. My house is too small to do so I know that is out. Thanks for the ideas

What price range?
J&R Steakhouse starts at 13.99 pp.
Long Island Grill (Ronkonkoma) starts at 19.95 pp
The Village Way (Port Jefferson)-I think around $15 pp, they have 1 small private room that can fit about 15 people.

Re: Any suggestions on where to have an inexpensive baby shower in Suffolk?
What's your definition of inexpensive? Less than $20pp or less than $30pp?
Does she like Chinese food? In a real $$ pinch you can usually have one at a Chinese Buffett for $11 or $12 pp. My friend & I threw one at the Good Taste Buffet in Commack 2 years ago & it was nice/the food was really good. I was wary about doing it there, but people really seemed to love it.
When recently looking for my shower I found that the Sea Haven in Lindenhurst had really good prices as did the Silver Pheasant in Lindy. I can't remember how much they were, but I do know that both were less than $20pp...maybe $16 & $17? The decor at both places is a little dated, but they both seem to be budget friendly.
If you're planning a smaller shower & are ok with spending up to $25pp, I'd recommend the Blue Lagoon in West Babylon - that's where mine is going to be. Their party room is really nice & we recently went to eat there & the food is good. Good luck with your search!

I know someone that just had a party at the AOH in babylon. It's actually really nice inside.
You can rent the room for $300 (approx/not sure the exact number) then you would have to add catering.

Not sure where you are located, but my sister just booked a party at Imperial Orchid in North Babylon for $11 p/p. Most Chinese or Thai restaurants are cheap...we are having my sisters bridal shower at her favorite Thai restaurant and it's less than $10 pp - they are just using the lunch menu.
