any suggestions?? RE coffee smell in the house?
ok.. so DH has a serious latte addiction- lol he just spent $500 on an espresso maker. he makes one every morning. its nice beacause it keeps him from spending $$ at starbucks every day, BUT i can't STAND the smell of it!! i don't drink coffee- i'm a tea girl. its to the point where my house constantly smells like a coffee house. any ideas how to get rid of it?? when it was warmer i could open the windows, but not now... i have a little small air filter right next to it that doesn't do much, i've tried the oust odor sanitizing spray, doesn't do much either.... dh also cleans it once a day. i'm out of ideas, and its driving me nuts!!! anything maybe i haven't tried, yet?? thanks!

The only thing I could think of is try storing the coffee in air tight sealed canisters and throwing the grinds outside when he's done brewing....if That doesn't do it, keep some of your favorite scented candles around and lite them often.............

read this online
Try boiling a cup of water and 1 to 2 tablespoons of vinegar for a few minutes (don't let the pan boil dry). Turn on fans to help dissipate the smell. If the odor lingers, dip a clean dishtowel in full-strength vinegar, wring out the liquid, then wave the cloth around -- it does the job.
