Any teacher stores in manhattan
Are there any teacher stores or even dollar stores in the city? I did googles.. can't find anything.

there is a great one in downtown brooklyn, but i am forgetting the name... i used to go there all the time when i worked in Brooklyn... perhaps you can google...

Yeah...Barcalay is in downtown BK a few blocks from the Dep of Ed. Bring your UFT id so that they dont charge you sales tax.
As for a teachers store in Manhattan the only thing that is kinda like that is the Scholastic store in SOHO....but thats mostly books, not so much supplies.

I believe Barclay is on Livingston Street which is right next tothe Board of Ed building on Court...you just have to walk 2-4 blocks
