Re: Any tips/tricks for potty-training
Well, for us...we're taking it really slow right now. I don't feel the need to rush her and neither does my Ped.
So we're just starting with making it a part of bath time routine. So every night before her bath she goes pee pee on the potty.
AND if she wants to run around nudie after her bath, she knows she needs to go pee pee on the potty 1st....cuz I'm over her peeing on the carpet
It's baby steps for us and so far it's working.

Re: Any tips/tricks for potty-training
it totally depends on the child. some do it in 2 days. my dd is going on 10 months of using the potty without being trained. it will only happen when they are ready. it's hard to be patient but it's important. we've let DD walk around the house totally naked & that is the only way she goes on the potty every single time, no accidents. put panties on her & they are wet in 10 minutes. go figure!

Re: Any tips/tricks for potty-training
Bribing my kids and waking them up in the middle of the night to bring them to the potty worked for me !

Re: Any tips/tricks for potty-training
I am in potty training h e l l s I'm no help right now! The only incentive I have to get her to sit on the potty is to let her little brother near it - then she says she has to go potty but barely gets a drop out!

same exact here. i also got a tiny helicopter and car that he keeps in the bathroom so when he goes potty he can play with it for a few minutes. this actually worked better than i thought it would b/c now he's asking me to go pee!
