For me zinging my water up helps. Sometimes I make a big pitcher of water with mint leaves, ground fresh ginger & lemon slices. It looks like a salad floating in the pitcher but it tastes so good. Make sure you use a pitcher with a strainerChat Icon . Outside of that if I get bored with water, flavored seltzer does the trick. Cold flavored green tea is also very good.

Mio! I love this stuff, I just pray its healthy (haven't heard anything that says its not).

I just put it in my water and I drink way more water than I'd normally drink if it wasn't flavored!

Water is literally the only thing I drink (aside from alcohol) ..

I used to never ever drink it but then I found when I was losing weight for my wedding how refreshing it really is and how much better I feel wheen Im really hydrated.

You'll learn to love it.. Just keep filling up the water bottle :) Put some lemon slices in if you have, it helps.

Re: Any tricks to drinking more water?

I find that temperature makes a difference. I used to fill up a huge bottle but now I only fill up my water glass. So I can get up and moving around more often and so that the water doesn't get room temperature quicker.

Tea feels like it fills me up more even though I know it doesn't. It's just the temperature I guess. I really like trying different tea (with splenda).

Lastly, it may sound gross, but the more I drink, the more I use the bathroom and every time I do, I know I'm losing weight. Chat Icon Really though, I used to keep a lot of extra water weight on, especially when eating salty foods or microwave meals, so the more bathroom breaks I take, the more I know I'm getting rid of. I have started drinking flavored sparkling water as my alternative to diet coke. I'm addicted to the fizz!Chat Icon

Re: Any tricks to drinking more water?

before I had weight loss surgery, I drank about 8 diet cokes a day and now that I can't have carbonation, I do fresh lemon in ice cold water.

Re: Any tricks to drinking more water?

there's a girl i work with that brings a reusable water bottle to work everyday and she always puts something in it to spice it up. one day it was filled with cucumbers, another day strawberries, one time blueberries and strawberries, mint, etc. her water always looks beautiful LOL because of all the crazy fruits she puts in. mixing it up like that might help you enjoy it more

I put in True Lime or True Lemon. It's crystallized lemon or lime packets but nothing artificial. I like it and it helps me drink more.

I love my Contigo water bottles also. So easy to drink from. I carry them everywhere. I've been getting my 8-9 glasses a day in, trying to up it to 12.

Re: Any tricks to drinking more water?

I love filling a huge water bottle with fresh crushed ice and then a hint of lemon or lime juice.

I've gotten to the point where I crave it like this over any other beverage.
