Any working mothers here...Help!
.. that live 2 hours away from home. How do you do it? I live in PA but work in the New York city. I dont think i will be able to handle this when the baby comes. I have to get up at 5am in the morning as it is and I will be breastfeeding.

We're 1.5 hours from my job. I don't like being so far away from home. One thing to make sure of if you're opting for daycare is that you have help locally - even if it's enlisting a neighbor. Many times I've gotten a call that they're sick & need to be picked up. Policy is they need to be picked up within the hour.
I nursed too. It does all work out in the end.
Feel free to FM me with any questions.

Re: Any working mothers here...Help!
Ouch. That will be tough. When my DS was born, I was working in NYC and commuting from Upper Montclair, NJ. The train ride was under 45 minutes but the commute really wore on me.
Honestly, I would seriously consider looking for work closer to home. Commuting 4 hours a day will be nearly impossible with a newborn at home.
Shortly after my maternity leave ended, I ditched my law firm in NYC for a smaller firm that is 10 minutes away. It has made such a big difference and I am so much happier.
