DD was born at 37w5d and was perfectly healthy. She just had jaundice (from me from BFing) and had to go under the light for just under 24 hours at the end of our stay. She never had to go to the nicu. 37 weeks is full term so I wouldn't worry about delivering at that point.

I did. Delivered at 37 weks 5 days due to preeclampsia.

She was a perfect 7 lbs 12 oz.

I had my twins at 36.6 weeks....almost 37 and they were both very healthy and weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz and 5lbs 3oz. no nicu and came home with me in 3 days after c-section.

I delivered at 37 weeks and 4 days.
She was a healthy 6lb 3 oz baby -and no NICU. 37 weeks is considered full term, I had preterm labor at 32 weeks and was on bed rest until I delivered (in hospital for 3 of the 5 weeks). She had a bit of jaundice but putting her in the sunlight did the trick and she is a super happy and healthy 4 1/2" month old!

All of mine were born before 37 weeks and did just fine....

My eldest daughter was 7lbs 15 oz and born at 36 weeks exactly..no issues what so ever

My son was 7lbs 11oz and born at 36 weeks 4 days...no issues

My twins were born at exactly 35 weeks and were 4lbs 14oz and 5lbs...they stayed a week in the NICU b/c they were 35 weekers...but had no issues what so ever...the doctor just wanted to monitor them before sending them home.

My BFF just did! She went into labor though. Her DD was the same length and weight as mine (who was born at 39w4d).

Many many babies are born with the cords around their neck, so I'm kind of surprised ur Dr. is scheduling an early c b/c of it. Is there something more specific about it that you didn't mention? I mean- if you want to share.

I know a true knot, if noticed beforehand (usually isn't), is definitely grounds for c- but that's something else.

I bet if you did a poll on how many of us has a baby born vaginally with the cord around the neck it would be A LOT- like 20% ish.

I had my DD at 36weeks 3 days and my son at 37 weeks 3 days.

Both were perfectly healthy

My DS was born at 36 weeks. I broke my water and he was 5 lbs. 15 oz and perfectly fine. My twins were born at 36 weeks weighing 4 lbs 13 oz and 4 lbs 11 oz. They did not have to go to the NICU and we were home in 3 days and now they are 20 months and wearing a size 3t!!!! You'll be fine!!! Good luck hon!!!

MY born vaginally 37 wk 2dy no problems. Baby A 6.8lbs 20 inches, BabyB 5.1 lbs 18 inches. 100% perfect!
