Anybody got some spare job dust??
I have a really strong technical background but I've been looking for a change, something that I can use my experience with, but is more administrative and organizational. And more MONEY. 
DH and I only have one car but thankfully, we work less than a mile from each other. If I were to get another job, it would have to be closeby to where he works now, or it would have to be in the city.
I don't like the idea of working in the city. So it's been next than impossible to find something suitable.
Well, tonight when I got home, I got an email from a company that I had applied to back in the beginning of August! I was surprised to say the least. They want to consider me for the position!
This job is even closer to DH than I am now, will most likely pay more than what I'm currently making (ironically, I got a raise today - a measly 2%), and involves TRAVEL to international locations in Europe and Asia!! 
I know, I shouldn't get my hopes up. Thing is, I interview really well because I have a stronger work ethic than most people I know and it shows. I'm confident in myself but not cocky. And besides one job requirement (degree), I completely qualify, and I didn't pad my resume one bit. I would truly excel at this job.
I have to wait till tomorrow to talk to her, see when we can schedule an interview. I can go on my lunch hour!

Thanks ladies!!
I got a phone interview yesterday with HR, it went well. They should call me back by tomorrow to schedule an interview in the office.
They asked the salary range I was looking for and I told them 10K more than I'm making now (it's a bit more than industry average for this position) and they said that was "within the range for the position".
Keeping my fingers crossed...
