anybody have any good ideas for mother's day gifts?
i want my almost 3 year old to make something for grandmothers/greatgrandmothers for mother's day.. have any cute ideas?

how about the garden stepping stone? I'm going to have DD "make" one for DH for Father's Day (great idea from LIF)...his will be footprints on a surfboard design. Maybe for grandmothers it could be handprint flowers or butterflies. The kits are on sale at AC Moore....you can get them from $8-$14.

Just read the kits carefully, some of them say Toxic, do not let children use on them. Which is unbelievable bc its not like adults are making each other stepping stones. I was reading the box at AC Moore for V-day and noticed the warning.

Last year I did a stepping stone for DH and he loved it!!!
I think for the grannies this year I might do the aprons Melissa posted above....thanks!

yes, I was shocked too! I think the cheaper kit said it had silica which is illegal in CA b/c of it's ties to cancer. How nuts is that?! You can find ones that don't contain that though, at least I did.
