Anyone been to Great Adventure this Seasonw with a infant/toddler?
DH and I are going to Great Adventure this weekend with our 10 month DS and my friend and her nephew. I figured there wouldnt be many rides but that DS could go on but I figured that had the whole looney tunes area and the little splash activity thing. Well I just went to the website and everything kiddie related with no height requirement says "No Infants." Does anyone know what Great Adventure's definition of "Infant" is? If DS cant do ANYTHING...its going to be a LONG day and I have already purchased the tickets......

We recently went to GA New England and my DD was 20 months. She went on the carousel and some little rides like the bus in Thomas Town and a few splash pools in Hurricane Harbor and the wave pool. Not "great" for infants, but it's still fun. We went 3 days in a row and she was never really bored.

Thanks for your reply. See, that's what I figured, we'd go on a couple of kiddie rides (like the train that putts around on a track) but I dont know now if we're going to get there and they're going to tell me that he's an infant...what makes an infant an infant, YKWIM? If they tell me he cant ride do I lie and say he's 12 months old? Are they going to "proof" him?

ha ha they actually didn't even give my DD a card( we got season tix) because she was under 2. I will be honest I did not see or hear anything about "infant" status anywhere in the park the only thing they were sticklers about was in hurricane harbor all babies MUST wear a life preserver. We were at Busch Gardens last year when she was 10 mos and it was basically the same as this year at GA. I wouldn't worry and just have FUN!! all rides are governed by height not age so if he meets the height requirement he can go on the ride no matter what his age.

Thanks for answering my zillion questions. Funny you should bring up the height requirement thing. That's what brought this whole thing up to begin with. I sorted by "No Height Requirement" and every one of them that came up said "No Infants." So I was trying to figure out what the heck they meant by that.
here's an example:
Splashwater Oasis is a wet n’ wild play area packed with "jumping fountains," tipping buckets, hydro-blasters, water curtains, water sprays and more. No height min. w/ adult. 42” min. to ride alone. Adults over 54” must accompany a child. No infants.

Re: Anyone been to Great Adventure this Seasonw with a infant/toddler?
We have season passes as well to the six flags by us so we didn't really pay attention. We took our youngest DD when she was just a few months old the first time. She rode the ferris wheel and I sat in the bench on the carousel while I held her. I think the term "infants" is for babies that are too young to sit in their own seat and have to be held in an adults lap. At 10mths I think he'll have no problem sitting next to you.
