I almost bought a short sale house and got a good faith estimate. It ended up being a nightmare and we pulled out (one of the sellers wouldn't sign...it was annoying). What's your question? I learned so much during the process I might be able to help.

my question is about one of the bank checks we were told to bring; and who it is supposed to go to
its driving me nuts that i cant speak to anyone until Monday.

we didn't have a short sale, but for our closing, we had to get 1 bank check made out to our attorney's trust account.
this was nj, it might be different in ny...

During my closing I only had to bring one check...made out to one of the sellers.
