I just don't know what people will do if they can't go to Disney due to Zika being in Orlando.
I know people who it's like a drug to.... if the don't go for awhile they start breaking out in hives. Chat Icon

We go to Disney every year. People probably think we are one of those Disney people since we go so often. It's just so easy - short flight and everything is focused on kids.

We like other vacations too. I'm glad we did Florida so much the past few years. Looking forward to exploring national parks and lakes for the next year or so.

Yes I definitely would love to see some National parks and if ever do "disney" it will be DisneyLand and then we explore the west coast.

But all kidding aside, I have a friend I used to work with and her and her DH's 20th Wedding Anniversary is coming up and they are going away with the kids... guess where? Disney. For their 20th Anniversary getaway.
I was kind of like

We are here right now and there was a pop up message on the app today and there are stands everywhere offering cutter deep woods spray for people to use. Honestly, haven't had any mosquito issues at Disney yet, but appreciate that they are providing the spray.

I just got back from Disney 3 days ago & didn't see any stands so I guess they just implemented it--nice if them to do that, although I didn't get bit at all down there and mosquitoes usually LOVE me

We've been to Disney 5x and I have never seen or been bit by a mosquito. And Disney is taking extra precautions.

I know a few people who went to Disney in the past 2 weeks and they all said no mosquitos. My friend's sister is TTC and went on the Disney cruise. She didn't get off the ship most ports.

Yes Sunday was the first day! Thought it was great, soon as it started getting darker we sprayed down.

We just got back from disney last night and not once got bitten. We were all saying we didnt even see one mosquito. I was a little concerned since we stayed at french quarter and took the boat downtown almost every night. I even ordered the deet wipes off amazon and the pack came home unopened.

We're not ready for baby #2 yet, but I'm mildly panicking because I'm flying down to Miami in January for a wedding.

On the upside, flights to Miami are now super cheap.

Nope. Going right after Thanksgiving for a,week. I have never, ever been bit at Disney, I always figured they spray the hell out of it at night or something.

Not a chance in hell.
I've been looking forward to this trip next month for far too long and my baby making days are way over.

A friend was telling me how she wants to take her DD to Disney but won't because she wants to try for a second soon. I told her both of those things are my worst fears.
