Anyone cooking today?
So far I started a small pot of chicken soup, sunday sauce (tomatoe/pasta) and I have chocolate chip muffins in the oven.

Anyone cooking today?
Making banana bread. I would do more but my ILs are coming early this afternoon. I would love to make a big pot of chili in this weather though!

I made pot roast yesterday (Cooking Light's "Company Pot Roast" made in the slow cooker), so we have leftovers of that.
Tonight I am making creamy fettucine with porcini mushrooms (a Cooking Light recipe DH and I love) with salad.
I didn't really do a big shop, because of the impending storm, and don't want to do a lot of cooking and stock the fridge with leftovers that I'll have no way of heating up and will go bad if the power goes out.
I always have baking supplies in, so I may make a batch or two of muffins, because they will be good for breakfasts or snacks if we lose power.
I am supposed to make cupcakes to decorate with DS's preschool tomorrow, but I am thinking school will be a no-go.

I toasted a bagel  .
And I am making Halloween brownies from the fridge section at the grocery store later.
Other than that, I am hesitant to make a lot of stuff too just yet because of the weather.

Anyone cooking today?
I made scrambled eggs and waffles this morning because I wanted to use up my millk and eggs. And for dinner I made a meatloaf, broccoli and sweet potato fries and there's leftovers so we'll eat that tomorrow (hopefully).

I already put the pork roast in the oven.. want to be prepared in case we lose power.
Also making some Nutella brownies and will likely do a pumpkin bread.. I wouldn't want my eggs to go to waste! 
Once the brownies come out of the top oven I'll get the roasted potatoes started. I'm doing some baked apples as a side and also peas and carrots.

I started cooking early just in case we loose electricity.
I made baked ziti, London broil, roasted brussel sprouts, French fries and Brownie cupcakes. DH's friends are coming over so wanted to make sure I had enough food.

Anyone cooking today?
We made a roasted chicken in the crockpot overnight in case we lost power. We did for a couple of hours but it's back so we've just kept it on warm. I also made cinnamon muffins last night.
