Anyone else feel really calm about their pregnancy?

I honestly thought I would be one of those nuts reading every book and all that. I am so calm though with this baby and it is my first. This baby has had the most calming effect on me. It's crazy!

with dd i was like that, just very laid back about everything. I didn't stress over everything, I just went about my usual routine. I had a great pregnancy and DD is very laid back too

me...and honestly...I am so high strung normally, that I hope this kid will somehow be a calm soul!

I have to say I was extremely calm when I was pregnant with DS. I went to work everyday, never called my OB, never had to go to the hospital, and I was high risk. Everyone always commented on how relaxed I was and I have to say that my DS is the most calm, relaxed, good natured baby (knock on wood) - daycare says he the best baby and is really pleasant and calm - my mom swears that it had to do with my attitude during pregnancy - i don't know if that is true, but I'll take it!

I thought I would pour over every single book, and get worried over every little thing... but that's not the case.

The things that have worked me up have been registering, shopping for a crib and of course-- ensuring that I am being healthy. All things within my control. Whatever is not, I try to not let it get to me-- a huge change for me!

I think Im pretty calm. Im normally a nervous wreck, SO I am much more mellow now. I forget Im pregnant until I have to get up I eat what I want, do pretty much everything the same. Its been good. Now hopefully once he gets here he will be calm too.

If I have no control over it, I don't think about it - so yes, being a normally high strung person, i'm pretty laid back about this whole thing. - I think the fact that I don't have many symptoms is helping to ease my stress and anxiety too - I'm sure if I were suffering from M/S or miserably sick, I'd be much more anxious .........

but other than not having much of an appetite and being a narcoleptic, I feel fine - So i'm kind of just going w/ the flow .........see the Dr. when he tells me to, go get the tests I'm supposed to .......blah blah blah -

honestly, I also don't like when people fuss over me or make a big deal out of 'me' .........so while I may stress or worry about something in MY head, I don't really vocalize it -

me! i mean, i obsess over making sure i'm buying the right things and the item's overall safety, but other than that, i'm easy breezy! little duck has been such a good camper, i haven't had one thing to worry about **knock on wood!**

I'm pretty laid back. I've been more annoyed then stressed about having been so sick with MS.

Registering is stressing the crap out of me..... I honestly have no desire to do it. I was the same way with my wedding registry. DH is diong all the safety research, I just can't handle it.

I wish! I have moments of calm, but then I stress about every little odd pain & symptom that doesn't seem "normal". I am a hypochondriac by nature, so this is par for the course. I have been more calm about everything else non-pregnancy or baby related, though.

I'm usually extremely high strung and neurotic, but I feel like I've been relatively mellow (for me) throughout the whole pregnancy. I've had a couple of nervous times and have had to call the doc a couple of times, but otherwise I've been really calm.

I have been pretty calm and laid back, there have been a few occassions when I got nervous/scared (like when I started bleeding at 8 weeks) but for the most part I haven't been stressing.

I have also been really lucky and have had a pretty easy pregnancy so far.

I expected to be a wreck during this pregnancy but I have been surprisingly relaxed so far. I am so sleepy most of the time that I don't have the energy to be anxious. I will take sleepy over anxious any time.
