Anyone else have an umbilical cord prolapse when they had DC?
Just curious...
this happened to me and the more I read about it, it sounds like its really rare...
and maybe it didn't occur to me then how bad things could have ended up
Only now, 3 months later, am I really thinking about it....
Anyone else have this?

I had it but then it shifted at the very end. My doc really scared me about it and I really freaked out!

I didn't have much time to freak...soon as they realized the cord was blocking DD's exit, it was an emergency c-section....
and then they told me if my water had broken at home, she probably would have had minutes to live
I don't know why...its just hitting me tonight HOW lucky I was....and that DD is here and just fine
