Re: Anyone else have issues with brushing your teeth?
Brushing my teeth was the only time I would throw up in the beginning. Now in the 3rd tri its happened a couple of times.

Re: Anyone else have issues with brushing your teeth?
gagging while brushing my teeth is one of my first signs of pregnancy. And it lasts the whole pregnancy for me

Brushing my teeth was fine, but trying to brush my tongue would make me gag.

I almost vomited several times in the first trimester. It gets better.

Re: Anyone else have issues with brushing your teeth?
In the entire 1st trimester I would almost cry when I had to brush my teeth bc it almost always ended in me gagging so bad and eventually throwing up. It does go away tho.

Re: Anyone else have issues with brushing your teeth?
I forgot about this! I did have trouble brushing my teeth in the 1st tri. It definitely passed evenutally for me, I've been fine ever since. But I totally gagged when brushing my tongue every single morning!!! DH would hear me gag coughing in the bathroom and be like YOU OK IN THERE???? good luck! hope you kick it soon

Re: Anyone else have issues with brushing your teeth?
I gagged a few times while brushing my teeth, even spit up once or twice because of it, but it doesn't happen everyday, just once in awhile.

Re: Anyone else have issues with brushing your teeth?
I had a really big problem with brushing my teeth my 2nd pg. It would make me throw up each and every time. I tried doing it in the morning, when I got home from work, at night. Nope made me sick each and every time I tried. I do admit to not brushing my teeth as much as I should have b/c I just didn't want to get sick (I had bad m/s for 27 weeks). I did use Listerine or Scope every day though. I was able to do that.

Re: Anyone else have issues with brushing your teeth?
Yup gagged almost every time till about 16 weeks... between the toothpaste and the phlegm buildup in my throat my gag reflex would just go out of whack!!! Now there's not more gagging but the gum bleeding is really bad... like a bloody horror show in my sink every morning!
