i already stated who i'm rooting for, for the playoffs since the islanders aren't in it. so it wasn't me misunderstanding her.
Are you referring to the post by lvdolphins? Because no where in that post did she say she was rooting for the Devils next season. She just said that when the season for the Islanders ended, she would root for the Devils.
I took that to mean (and lvdolphins, please correct me if i am wrong), that she would root for the Devils against the Rangers. It did not appear that she was 'jumping ship' to permanantly root for the Devils.

Actually, I am a huge hockey fan. I have had season tickets for the past 9 years. So you know NOTHING about MY interests. But your interests (creating drama, oversimplifying, generalizing and sterotyping) are abundantly clear.

My husband is a Ranger fan, he's 42 years old and has ALWAYS been a Ranger fan. I don't understand how that is jumping on the bandwagon?

Do you think she knows the "does not equal" sign either?
She apparently thinks MG makes her richer than all of the professionals on LIF, so she can't be that great at math either.
Listen, we all have opinions and things we say about the other team and their fans (don't get me started on yankee fans  ) but when you put it out there on the board it makes it sound like you're serious and you run the risk of offending a lot of people.

ah - the forgotten rivalry in NY
the rangers and the islanders - just as intense if not more so than the mets and the yankees
ranger fan here - though totally not a die hard fan, where i follow the games closely
