Anyone elses 18 month old.......
destroy your house? Eva messes my house up from the time she wakes up until she goes to bed , and I mean she destroys the place 
I try to distract her with cool toys and playing with her , but it is like she loooooves ripping everything apart

O man yes, ds is only 16 months and he's a little TORNADO. I've decided it's cause there's too much "stuff" accessible and I'm working to put some of the toys and gadgets out of reach now! But even the non-toy stuff I've had to duct tape, block off, and otherwise camoflague or else there are books, dvds, and SHITE everywhere!!!!

 I have had to tape the card into the cablebox b/c she pulls it out all the time, and I had to tape batteries into one of our remotes b/c she will smack the remote on the floor then try and put the batteries in her mouth  so now I have to hide the remotes and phones

yup and it drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!!! i cant tell you have many things she has broken.... like FH $500 cell phone!

I am scared Eva is going to break my flatscreen tv , since she likes to throw her bottle at it or hit it with a blunt object

YUP!!! DS is only 17 months but he is a tornado! Like AP said, it isn't even just the toys, it is literally anything he can get his hands on

No but my 2.5 and 4 yr old do!!! Trying to get them to put something away is a neverending battle!! Thankfully they are getting better but I still pretty much follow them around cleaning up!

Kaydyn is almost 2 and we gate her into the LR because if she is left to wander the house she destroys EVERYTHING. Between her and our puppy our house is in shambles when they are free.

Start introducing her to a REALLY fun activity--cleaning up. DS could do it by that age, especially if you gave him a bin and made it seem like a game of some sort. He would run around picking everything up, very proud of himself, and I'd make a fuss over what a great job he was doing. I think I still cleaned up more than he did, but it helped.
Now he's 2, and I've started insisting that he put something away when he's finished with it before pulling out the next thing (upstairs anyway, in his basement playroom he can go wild). At first he didn't like it, but now he's used to it and knows he needs to do that if he wants something else. Same thing when we go out and he starts pulling stuff off the shelves in a store--he can take things down and look, but he has to put each one back before he takes the next. It took awhile for this to sink in though.
