Anyone else's cycles out of wack?

Since my mc in July my cycles have been totally crazy. They are all over the place, it's impossible for me to track when I'm ovulating. Is anyone else dealing with this? I've had cycles that last 15 days and cycles that last 39.Chat Icon

I am now on CD 30, I have cramping and sore boobs but no af yet. Last month I got AF on CD 36, the month before that I had two AF's in one month.

I am beginning to get so upset. I am bd-ing like an animal, trying to fig out when I'm ovulating and trying to stay relaxed to boot.

Thanks. Good luck to you too. Does the clomid regulate your entire cycle (menstruation, ovulation) or just ovulation? Did your ob make you wait a certain period of time before using it?

Re: Anyone else's cycles out of wack?

I've been out of wack since I was 13..lol!

Most recently, I have had long cycles, anywhere from 31-41 days, but usually around 35-37. However, my last cycle lasted over 50 days, even though I got a Chat Icon on my OPK on day 21. So, we shall see what this month holds. currently on CD 16, and keep forgetting to use my OPKs, so we'll just BD a lot for the next couple of weeks and pray!

I totally can see where you are frustrated. Mine have been more regular now than before...but I can see where it's driving you crazy! Have you called your doctor?

Sorry Kristin, I know how fustrating our cycles can be. I know the 2 cycles after my miscarriage were off by a few days, and ovulation day changed too.

I would def speak to your Dr.

Re: Anyone else's cycles out of wack?

Thanks girls. I spoke to my doctor when in October when I had the two cycles in one month. She was not really concerned and told me that it can be normal for your periods to be out of whack after a mc. She is very laidback, which is normally very comforting to me but I think I need to ask her to check if I am ovulating. Are there tests that can do that?

Yeah, they can definitely do tests to make sure you're ovulating...they test on CD3 and CD21 (or about a week after you think you O'd). Based on the second test, they should be able to tell whether or not you actually O'ed.

I am so grateful that you posted this! Today is day 41 and I finally got AF. I was so worried that something was wrong. I was trying to give it time (I also took multiple tests...of course all BFN). I'm glad she's here b/c I hate being in limbo.

thanks, i didnt actually call till i was on month 11 of ttc! so we didnt wait at all, as far as i know the clomid basically just helps you to ovulate around cd 14 which is where you should be in my case i dont till around cd 27-30! if this doesnt work within the next 3 cycles then he is sending me to an re. i suppose everyone is different. he did tell me i should have called sooner though, so call your ob and see!!!
