Anyone else's kid a night owl?
My DD is almost eight months old and she usually sleeps from 10pm to 8:30. She is also really inconsistent with naps. Some days she sleep for 3 hours straight, some days we are lucky if she give a total of an hour for the day broken into little 15 min cat naps.
Anyone else have a late night party animal like me? Is it okay that she is on such a late schedule? Is there anything I can do to try and get her to bed earlier? Even on the days when she hasn't really napped and is exhausted she won't go to bed earlier.
If this remains her schedule, I'm going to have quite a time getting her up in the morning for school.

Yes. I have two night owls and I have to tell you - it is REALLY hard to change them! My kids may be the only ones out there that actually DO sleep longer and better the LATER they go to bed

I seem to have one! But she is only 10 weeks old, so who knows what she'll turn out to be! I'm hoping she falls into a better nap schedule and I have been trying to get a bedtime routine going at 7pm. it's only been a week and it has been a bumpy ride so far!

Re: Anyone else's kid a night owl?
at 5.5m old my DD goes to bed at earliest 9/930 and latest 11-12.. i dont understand how parents say that their babies go to bed at 7pm.. DD is just like her mommy which won't bode well for anything that requires getting up early for the next 25 years or so

Yes but if she wasn't I would never see her!! Lately, bedtime has been 10:30 which is fine by me. She's up at 4 for a bottle and then 7:30 for the day.
