Last night there was another kid on my video monitor
I know this has happened to a few people before - but my god - it scared the living crap out of me when I looked into the monitor at about 1am and Jack's crib turned into a toddler bed - and Jack grew about a foot and a half 
Seriously, I did go into major panic mode because he's been waking up in the middle of the night the past two nights - and I wanted to see him to determine if he needed me or not. There was nothing I could do about it - and I ended up watching the toddler sleep all night long
Thankfully Jack slept till 6:15!!!

Sounds like the signals got crossed. It can happen with regular audio-only monitors too...I've heard stories of hearing other babies/conversations over the monitors, so the same can happen with the video monitors.

That would bug me out!! Even if you move the monitor to a different spot would it still pick up the other signal over your own?? thats so weird b/c I woudl think your signal would be stronger.

happens to me all the time, i can pick up my next door neighbors baby if i switch channels and if Ella's camera isn't on, but i turn on the monitor i can see another baby, still haven't figured out whose.

I heard someone else screaming on our monitor this morning. I have to remember to turn it off all the time now. Who knows what they hear!!

I wonder how far away the other child can be? I haven't had this happen..but then again I live around a bunch of older people and no kids.

When I got into his room this morning I saw that his plug wasn't in the outlet all the way which is why it picked up another signal.
I tried every different corner in my room to see if he would come through - and it was just that kid every time I looked

This has happened to us too! My husband was watching the monitor and there was one pair of legs that he thought belonged to me. Then a man's legs appeared as well! He freaked and ran into the nursery to find it empty as I had the baby downstairs. We then realized it must be a neighbor. I finally met her and she said she has it on the floor in her toddler girls room because they are on the other side of the house....
