Anyone elses kid get excited about bedtime?

Kerri comes to me and crawls in my lap, thats how I know she is ready for bed.

Well the last week as we approach her crib she gets all excited, hands and feet going then conks out......strange kid

My DD is the same! Goes in without a peep. Loves it!

DS on the other hand He takes HOURS to get to bed and asleep!

DS did this tonight. I was carrying him upstairs to give him his bath and he started laughing hysterical.
Poor kid. It was only 6:30 and he wasn't going to bed. He LOVED the bath. DH came home, they played for about 30mins...DH brought him back upstairs and not a peep. Just a drowsy smile like "Thank You Daddy" and now...He's snoring..LOL.

Ryan runs to his crib when I say- "want to go to sleep?". He grabs his blanket, I lay him down, and he claps his hand when I say "night night, I love you."

I hope one day she'll do that.

She's in a phase now where she fights it as long as she can.

Bella has done this most of her little life.
She asks for night night sometimes, at naptime she'll sometimes try to climb IN her crib, but pretty much all the time it's kisses, a group hug, and a goonight guys...sometimes if we try to keep her up late she'll be like hello, it's night-night time...

I know how lucky I am...

NOW you know why I am terrified for my second child.

Oh my kid TOTALLY gets excited for bedtime! She says, "Sleep, mommy! Sleep!" And off to bed we go. I swear she DIVES into the crib

when you mean excited do you mean screaming like a crazy baby excited. i tell you this child becomes possessed when we say bedtime. she starts crying and saying back. she wants her back rubbed at night. real princess.

Ella does - I'll ask if she's ready for nite-nite, and she'll start waving bye-bye and run for the stairs.

Of course, sometimes when I ask she says NO.

Roman used to up until about 16 months.

Yes! Noah goes to the stairs and said "bath" and we get into the bath, laugh a lot, brush his teeth, play in his room and then he goes off to sleep! We love bedtime!

Matthew does, we have a routine, at night they get their last bottle of milk and watch 1 maybe 2 episodes of the Backyardigans and Matthew will crawl on my lap and watch, or grab my legs and look up at me and whine a little and when we pick him up and say it is night night time, he smiles, because he knows

Yup!!

Even when she's not tired, she will go to her crib, put her hands on the railing and jump like she is trying to get in.
