Anyone ever been on a cruise in October/November?

I know hurricane season runs through December, but I was wondering if anyone had any bad/good experiences in October or November (pls specify begining or end of the month) Thanks!!

I went on a cruise in late November out of Tampa to the Western Caribbean and it was fabulous. No issues whatsoever.

we took a cruise last October...towards the end of the month. We left from San Diego though...so we really didnt have any problems with huuricanes

We have gone the week after Thanksgiving - I think that is the last week of hurricane season.

Honestly it is hit and miss - I have cruised in August b.c that was the only time we could go and we had fabulous weather and no issues but the week before and after were problems. I think the later you can plan the trip in November the better you will be.

We went on a cruise to the Bahamas starting October 23rd and had no problems. Hurricane season peaks around September 10, so the further you get from that date, the better.

Here's the probability of formation in October and November. (But, remember that it's for the entire month. The end of October is MUCH better than the beginning.)
