Anyone ever go to the breastfeeding support grp in huntington?
I'm thinking of going and wondering if it's helpful? I posted over the weekend about oversupply and a fast let down. I'm doing things to help and I know it should even out but for now feedings have gotten increasingly difficult and I don't want to give up. I think I need a little extra help.
If you've gone to this group or any lactation support group, did it help?

I didn't go to that group but I did do one thru S nassau that was held in Baldwin and it was really nice to be able to talk, ask questions and we did weigh ins with the babies to make sure they were gaining which was nice too! I'd say try it. If you don't like it then don't go back, kwim?

Re: Anyone ever go to the breastfeeding support grp in huntington?
Thanks! And that's sweet of you D! Saw the ped yesterday for a weight check and she's thrilled with Aubrey. She's now 10.9--up from 9.3 a week ago friday. I'm glad she's gaining but some of these feedings turn into a nightmare. She just screams and gets frustrated with the flow. And then when she's not, she either doesn't seem to ever get enough and the feedings go on forever, or she falls asleep after 10 mins and I can't get her up so then she's hungry an hour later. It's just exhausting for both of us!
