Anyone go to this? If so, what's it like? it meets on Wednesday afternoons at the Dolan Center on Pulaski Road. I am thinking of going starting this coming week because I need help!

Yes, I have gone twice. I always try to go, but I live so far away. I like it a lot and I love the lactation consultant who runs it. Its basically women with infants and toddlers and everyone discusses their issues. The issues are not limited to breastfeeding. You should give it a try. I tried to get there this week, but my daughter wouldn't let me - she was very hungry and by the time i would have gotten there, it would have been over. What type of help do you need, if you don't mind me asking. I had a lot of trouble at the beginning too. A lot.

Def. check out the group, but my rec. is to not supplement as much as you can. The more you nurse/pump the more you will produce! The more you supplement the less you will produce

I agree with this. I know it was discussed on a separate board, but when the baby nurses, it sends a signal to your body to produce more milk. Generally, your body produces the amount of milk the baby needs, so if she needs more than your body is producing, you should keep nursing her. There are days when I nurse almost all day because my baby hits a growth spurt and she needs more milk than my body produces. You may need to do something similar until your body gets the message.
