Anyone ever have a urinary tract infection? UPDATED
What does it feel like? I think I may have one and i have a 103 fever

If you feel like you have to pee all the time, and I mean even one minute after you just tried, you might have one. If you have a fever, definitely go to the doctor! He can prescribe you medication that clears it right up

my sister gets them pretty bad, ever since she was a little kid. I've only had 1, and from what I remember, it feels like burning, with pain in the area of your kidneys (if you let it get bad.)
Get to the Dr. ASAP - a UTI is one of those things that can get EXTREMELY out of hand if left untreated.

I had a UTI a few times...it feels like you have to pee alot and it burns. I hope that you feel better! Go see the doctor as soon as you can!!

Plus if your pain is moving up to your kidneys that is a sign that you've let it go too far or if you see blood in the bowl or on the TP. They'll give you some strong antibiotics and go back again for another urine analysis.
I had one that was really bad and it was very painful!

I was once hospitalized for one. I would definitely recommend seeing a doctor.

I never had one, but my sister gets frequent infections
you feel the need to pee all the time and when you go, you don't feel like you are emptying your bladder
pain, burning sensation when peeing
my sister gets a fever as well and even is doubled over in pain!!
if not treated, they can turn into bladder infections

I have a Dr's appt at 10:15. I don't THINK it's a UTI that I have. Sorry if TMI...but it does not burn when I go. It's more like I feel like I have to go soooo bad, I can barely make it to the bathroom, and then when I go, it's a drop. My fever is lower today, around 100, so we'll see what they say!

Even though there is no burning, it still sounds like a UTI.

Yes, that's exactly what my UTI was like. I didn't have burning, I just had to go to the bathroom every 5 secs for a little drop. The Dr. gave me antibiotics and I was feeling better in no time.
Good luck at the Dr.

Me too. I just had my first (and with any luck, last one) last month and it sucked. It didn't really hurt, but it was just soo annoying that I would sit there trying to go and there was nothing. I couldn't sleep b/c all I could think about was that I needed to go to the bathroom. The Dr. gave me antibiotics and by that night it was better, and the next day I felt fine again. Feel better soon!

I got one on my honeymoon a few weeks ago
DH had to run around a find a store, in London, that sold Cranberrry Juice!! If you drink a lot of it at the first signs of it it willl clear it up. I would try that first.
Oh and no sex for about 3-4 days to let it leave your system or it might come back. Yeah, that was fun on our honeymooon. Poor DH.

Just got back from the Dr...he thinks I have a bladder infection, and there was blood in my urine. I have to go for all kinds of blood test tomorrow (he wanted me to go today, but you have to fast from midnight the night before and I ate breakfast already) and then possibly a sonogram depending on the results.
In the mean time, he gave me some heavy duty antibiotics. Fun!
