Anyone ever have a wart?
I think I have one but I'm not sure what to do with it. All the medical pages I read say it would need to be frozen then removed. Is that really the only solution? Does anyone know?
It's on my finger not somewhere else

Re: Anyone ever have a wart?
Yeah, my dermatologist burned one off my hand last week. It was tiny. It didn't hurt too bad when he burned it with the soddering thing.

Re: Anyone ever have a wart?
My 7 year old daughter had one on her knee that we had frozen off at the dermatologist 2 weeks ago. The doctor said it is virus and dont be surprised if it comes back. I tried using the over the counter remedies but they take really long to work. My daughter said it wasnt that the pain wasnt that bad and it took no more than 30 secs to freeze.

Re: Anyone ever have a wart?
I've heard something about using duct tape. Let me see if I can find info on that for you.

Re: Anyone ever have a wart?
I just had one near my thumb and it got to the point where nothing over the counter was getting rid of it. I had this acid treatment done a few times at the dermatologists. what a pain but at least it's gone. I don't know which looks worse- the wart that was there or the scar I now have.

Re: Anyone ever have a wart?
In High School, I had one near the thumb and I think I used some OTC medicine but I don't remember which one.
