Anyone ever stain poplar?
We are having a built-in installed next weekend and originally we were going to paint it.. Now I am thinking I might want to stain it-- how does a stain look over Poplar?
We picked that type of wood to save costs- thinking we would paint.

poplar is not really a stain grade wood. I think it would look better painted.
