Anyone fairly recently deliver at St.Charles (that already has a toddler) ??
My DS is 3....I know the visiting hours for siblings are 2-4 and general visiting is 7-8...My DH keeps hopingh we will be able to keep DS in the room with us in between also (if we don't have a room-mate that is)...I told him I highly doubt it, from what I'm hearing they have gotten stricter with visitation...When we delivered there in '05- it was a free for all ...they hardly enforced anything...I'm due in January and my BFF had aher baby there last Jan. and the nurses said Jan is the slowest of all months ......What was your experience with visiting hours at St.Charles ?? Thanks

I delivered in June 2007. My roommate had 2 toddlers. They were pretty strict with her and made the kids leave after visiting hours were over @ 4pm.

I delivered in Nov 06'. They let Damien stay as long as we liked. But I was alone.
Truthfully, I found Damien got very bored and was a getting into trouble. Opening draws and closets playing in the bathroom. If you can find family or friends to stay with DS I would do that instead. Damien was three when I had Jaidy. Plus I had a c-section and he had a hard time with taking it easy with me. Plus he was jealous of all the attention the baby was getting. He also would cry so much when he had to leave me. When he was home with my Mom he was much better off. HTH

Thanks- thats what I was thinking too- My DS is Curious George and I can see him doing the same thing....We're going to have to shuffle hime around between family and friends i think...My MIL can't watch him for long periods of time, he's too much for her so I'll have to see what everyone elses work schedules are like and go from there....My DS is also going to be a mess when he leaves, I can see it now- I'm hoping whoever watches him can take him to somewhere fun to keep his mind off it...Even if its "Fun 4 All " during that 4-7 break, since its so close by...Thanks everyone
