Anyone following the Mine Accident?
I have been glued to the TV since I came home today...I am so sad for these guys and their families...around 9, they said they found a body, and confirmed it dead. THe body was about 700 feet from the "minecars" where they thought the other people were in, but they were not there, so there is a little bit of hope...
I continue to think about and pray for them

Yes the reports were wrong...
12 dead....
Even Newsday this morning, front cover MIRACLE IN THE MINE .....
i can't imagine how those families felt when they heard that they were alive but now they are dead

I woke up to this story on the news. I am so sad for these families.

Yup...i went to bed last night thinking that only one was found dead...
To wake up and see that there was a "miscommunication" .
That was when I went to bed also. I couldn't imagine finding them alive though when the carbon monoxide levels they found yesterday afternoon were 3 times higher than the dangerous levels. But I was so hoping after the press conference last night that maybe they had moved to a completely different location

As I was falling asleep, I heard that the 12 were found alive, As I was on the train this morning, I read on my blackberry that the reports were wrong and only 1 was dead. My heart dropped. I feel so bad for the families that thought their loved one was alive

last night they announced that 12 were alive and only one was dead
that was the story the paper picked up
about an hour later the head of the mine announced a "miscommunication" and that 12 were dead and one was alive
