Anyone get a negative on a clearblue easy and then turn out pregnant?

I don't know where my period is.

Messed up my pill so I was not on it this month. The last day of my period was 12/26 and I recall it being a short period, I have a 27/28 day cycle so I am def late. Should have gotten AF around friday but for it to be tuesday and not have AF is weird. I am never late and when I mess up the pill AF always comes sooner...

Took a clearblue easy pregnant/not pregnant test yesterday and got NOT PREGNANT yet AF is still not here,

ANyone ever have anything like this happen? thanks

I did. The digital tests require higher levels of HcG to return a positive result. I didn't get a positive on that test until 3 days after AF was due. I had gotten a positive on a FRER a few days earlier.

when I was pregnant with my son I got a positive on the celarblue easy at 11 DPO so I assumed it was right but since my period STILL is not here I am starting to panic..

No experience with that but go buy a FRER test.

I agree with PP, get a regular test, they are more sensitive than digitals. I wouldn't freak out too much though, going off the pill mid-cycle may make things a bit wonky.

If you are that late even a digital should show up. I had a friend in college who was on the pill and got AF late and was flipping out and her body was just re-regulating itself or something.

When I was on the pill, every 4 months or so my cycle would just change, poof no reason. The day and time I got AF would just switch. I think if you are late for AF and still getting negatives you're probably safe. You can try testing with FMU tomorrow but I wouldn't really worry about being pregnant.

I don't remember which digital I bought when I got pg with DD BUT it at least appeared to be pretty sensitive. DH refused to believe I was really pg becuase the test was so faint you could barely see it. I took a digital and it came up "pregnant".

That said, I wouldn't necessarily expect your period when it came while you were on the pill. Your period on the pill is a withdrawal bleed, not a result of ovulation like it usually is in a "normal" cycle. Since you messed up your pills I'd expect this cycle to be weird and of course, you could still be pregnant. Who knows when you may have ovulated and conceived. I don't think a test would necessarily have to be positive at this point, you could possibly be pregnant and it's just too early. Or you could not be pregnant and your body is just thrown off. Sorry, not very helpful, I know!

Also, did you mention that this is your first month OFF the pill? That alone could mess with your cycle!

yeah this is what I am thinking. I think I am just making myself nuts, oh and the fact that DH woke up and told me he had a dream we had a little girl who looked just like me and was born with a full set of teeth does not help matters

Will test tomorrow AM in AF doesn't show.

I think af is just messed up because lack of pill, when I went off bc it took over 35 days for it to come

I was going to test this morning was MIL came early bc she watches DS on Wed. and I did not want to find out and then have to see her bc I knew I would spill the beans...

crashing here, I would take the test now! I am sure it is just messed up pill, but you never know. It seems like you took it late enough that a positive would have shown up. Last cycle, I was like 6 days late, and I am so regular, and then just got it, so these cycles screw with us bigtime!
