Anyone get brown water in their faucets and toilets yesterday?
I'm in Bethpage. It' freaked me out and then there was air in the lines.
It's all cleared out now and my dad says they were flushing out the sewer lines and it would be fine.
He was right. Wondering if anyone else in that area experienced the same.

I am in Bethpage too-no sign of brown water yesterday or today morn. but thanks for the warning! You would think the water department would give you advance notice..what if you got sick  Call them and ask what's going on..

that also happens it they open a fire hydrant or replacing pipes.
it should be temporary

do you have Aqua? there was well issues earlier in the week and we had no water, then brown water for a bit

Oh yeah, me too, about 4 or 5 days ago. I forgot about that. I'm glad there's nothing wrong with my house! I was worried there when I went to take a shower that day.
