Anyone give their kids Horizon Milk that doesn't need refrigeration?
I just bought a bunch of those 8oz packs for dc and cereal in case we lose power...
They don't need refrigeration unless opened and I'm wondering if it tastes the same as reg milk?
If it tastes weird dc won't drink it and they were not cheap.

When i worked in daycare, we used shelf stable milk for the kids. Imho i think it tastes funny, not sure if thats just cause i "know" it should taste different. The kids drank it tho. I havent tried it with ds yet.

I tried to give it to my kids once and they spit it out. I tried it and almost gagged. Friends of ours love it though.

I've only tried the Horizon Vanilla flavored one (all they had that day) and it tasted strange.
I'll be buying the regular 1% ones though for the storm. I doubt DS will be able to tell the difference. Well, I hope not.

I think they taste terrible but DS didn't seem to notice, after all he drank formula for a good 9 months (yuck!)

IMO it does not taste like regular milk. DD will drink it, but she prefers regular milk more.

I've bought it for times when we go on vacation - they drink it without any issues.

DS drinks Horizon or Organic Valley shelf-stable milk once a day at daycare. I think it tastes funny, but he doesn't mind. He also drinks refrigerated milk every day as well.

I think it has a slightly different taste, but I actually love it! I've given it to DS before and he was 100% fine with it.
