Anyone have a blog for their students?

Just wondering. Someone mentioned doing it and I thought it was an interesting idea.

I did once- I have since heard that wikis are better but I am not sure why. It was hard to moderate- even though I tried to enfore the idea of it being for their writing, they still posted stuff like Chris Brown's baby pictures (before we knew what a turd he was) . I was always deleting, it seemed.

It can be a great thing, but I think it's a lot of work.

I do. We use it as homework for my computer class. I post topics and then they reply. It gives us the chance to have conversations about topics (current events, etc..) that we can't in class.
