Anyone have a childs B-Day party in a park

How they heck do you give directions to where you will be on the invite?

For Noahs 1st birthday we had a pavillion so there was a semi organized way to say where to go.

But this year its just "at " the park and I know the vicinity where we will be but nothing much more. And theres just one parking lot, not like an A and B to say park in lot "such and such" .

My Sil did her son's party at the park. She said look for the pavillion with the blue balloons around it! She tied a bunch on each side - it made it really easy to find!!
It was such a great place for a party!!Chat Icon

Do you have to pay for something like that? I live pretty close to Hecksher and that would be a cute idea!

Most times I've been to parks for partys, we always had directions to a parking lot along with signs with arrows.

Hecksher in Huntington? I don't think they have them there. Hecksher State probably does.

I know you can rent out Northport beach pavillions for free.

I had my son's first birthday at Eisenhower park. I just wrote the field number on the invite and I decorated with balloons so everyone knew that was our spot. Plus, we were very close to the parking lot.

Ther are NO field numbers or parking lots. just ONE giant one.....

Maybe I will have to say follow the such and such balloons. I didnt think this part of it would be so hard. LOL

As my post says, last yr. we rented a pavillion. I think it was around $300 in the end to rent. This yr we are not renting one. We are not having as many people.
