Anyone have a Cuisinart toaster oven? strange question
I came home from work today and immediately heard this low pitched beeping sound coming from the kitchen. it was coming from our Cuisinart toasteroven. it wasn't on, but as soon as I unplugged it, it stopped. I then plugged it back in to prepare dinner and it was fine.
anyone else experience this?

No, but we had to return ours because the dial thing stopped turning. I was disappointed because I expected more from a relatively expensive toaster. We returned ours to BB&B and found 4 more with broken dials.

yea -it was not cheap. I don't have the box or receipt anymore. it's about a yr old.
I am leaving it unplugged from now on.

Yup, we have this model and that has happened to us too. We did the same thing - unplugged it and plugged it back in.
An annoying thing about this model too is that whenever we would put something low like a pizza box on the counter, if we pushed it against the toaster oven by accident, it would turn the toast button on.
We never keep anything on top of the oven, for this reason.
But otherwise, it works perfectly. That beep thing hasn't happened in over six months.

We have the same model--and we're ready to trash it. The "toaster" feature now needs two minutes or more to warm up. You have to press the "start" button. It goes off. Wait a minute. Press it again. It goes off again. Finally, the 3rd time, it will work.
Of course, by this point, I should have been out the door 5 minutes ago for work.

I called them and explained that the toaster oven was broken, and the dials had broken off of the oven. The person didn't speak English well, and after a conversation that led me to believe they were sending me a new oven, I got a new plastic dial in the mail. Which didn't help me because there was nothing to attach it to.
